Qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Chemical / Production Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University / Institution with full time PG Degree / Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized University / Regional Labour Institute / Institution recognized under the Factories Act / Rules.
OR
B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University / Institution. Candidates with qualifications exclusively in Fire Safety alone shall not be considered.
Post qualification experience of minimum 9 (nine) years (for E-4 grade); 6 (six) years for E-3 grade; and 3 (Three) years for E-2 is essential. Post qualification experience shall be counted from the date a candidate has acquired the said qualification.
Experience Profile:
Experience in compliance with safety regulations under the Factories Act; developing, auditing and improving safety systems; promotion of safety consciousness amongst the employees; examination of machinery, equipment and building from the safety angle; experience in conducting Hazop, Hazan studies, etc. Experience in organising safety training and fire fighting would be an added advantage.
Fluency in English and knowledge of Telugu is preferable.
